THE CEDAR FIRE AND CUYAMACA RANCHO STATE PARK ONE YEAR LATER:  RECOVERY EXPECTATIONS AND REALITIES

The Anza Borrego Institute sponsored a seminar on early recovery of Cuyamaca Rancho State Park on October 16-17, 2004 at the sixth-grade camp.  Presentations were made by more than 20 experts in three sessions that focused on forests, chaparral and other vegetation; impacts on wildlife; impacts on cultural and historical resources; and during-the-firestorm experiences.
