ENVIRONMENTAL CONNECTIONS:  POST-FIRE RESEARCH AND RECOVERY "SHOW AND TELL”

June 2, 2005, 4:00-6:00 pm, ENVIRONMENTAL CONNECTIONS:  POST-FIRE RESEARCH AND RECOVERY "SHOW AND TELL,” at the San Diego Natural History Museum.  Announcement:  Researchers, managers, students, and volunteers!  This is a great opportunity to showcase your research, restoration, recovery, and other post-fire efforts!  Eighteen months after the October 2003 wildfires, there is great curiosity and interest in sharing information informally about early results of many surveys, studies, and restoration efforts.   The workshop will focus on learning together; establishing connections among participants; and understanding local fire ecology and wildfire recovery since the wildfires of 2002 and 2003.  The words "show and tell" imply that everyone will contribute-make a poster, give a presentation, show a photo or map, bring something, or just participate in the dialog.
